IFT came to us with a request for strategic CFO advisory. The company specializing in design and implementation of energy systems operated in Slovakia and the Czech Republic and needed help with financial management and strategic planning.
During initial analyses, we quickly identified the fundamental problem.
Management had the right questions. But the data to answer them was missing.
Two countries, two separate Money S5 systems. Excel project projections outside of accounting. Manual consolidations 10+ days after closing. Bonus system for sales based on volume, not profitability. Data and systems didn’t allow for quality strategic decisions.
We decided to solve it from the ground up. First infrastructure, then tools, then strategy.
Solution
Data Infrastructure (2023)
- Connection of both Money S5 systems (SK + CZ) with automated daily extraction
- Standardization of chart of accounts and dimensions across entities
- Integration of projection models directly into the data model
- Automated projections of revenues, costs and cash flow based on open projects
Result: 10+ days → consolidated financials in real-time. Management sees what’s coming, not just what was.
ERP Migration Without Downtime (mid-2024)
- Slovak entity migrated from Money S5 to Baris—during full operations
- No reporting interruption, no migration of historical data
- New system standardized into existing data model
Result: Reporting worked continuously. Management didn’t know about migrations.
AI Layer and Strategic Advisory (2024-2025)
- IFT became one of the first clients piloting Onetribe AI
